What is Bro Sense Candles?

Bro Sense Candles is founded by Philip (a.k.a. me) in December 2021. Yep, during the COVID-19 pandemic where a lot of things went downhill. Tons of people were out of jobs, there were a lot of new mandates about quarantining and wearing masks, it was honestly such a stressful time for everyone worldwide. At the time, I was working at a bank helping clients manage their finances, but the longer I worked there the more I realized the profession was not the best fit for me. I remember coming home from a long day of work trying to unwind with some candles to soothe my mind. I wanted to start something more purposeful, something that I could craft on my own while helping others in need. That's when I decided to take a leap of faith and go rogue. Just kidding, but honestly, it took me years to jump off the corporate ladder and tell my gut to believe and create something for myself.

This is why I created Bro Sense Candles. Being in that position where I felt like the throne is far beyond my reach is actually a blessing in disguise because it allowed me to view life in a different perspective. After a long day at work I always enjoyed the therapeutic feeling candles gave when lit with a good book or show on Netflix accompanied by a nice drink. That was my escape. Hence, Bro Sense Candles was born with a vison to support others who are searching for that escape or therapeutic feeling that stimulates your senses and just unwind.

Our Candles

Our hand poured scented coconut-soy wax candles are made in small batches to ensure highest quality standards are met. Crafted from quality and simple ingredients: natural coconut and soy wax, wood wicks (that gently crackle like a mini campfire), and the highest quality blend of phthalate and paraben free fragrance oils.

With every candle sold a portion of sales are donated to support men’s mental health initiatives to help a bro in need.

Our Mission

Our mission is that we want to make a difference, not just by providing customers with quality crafted products that they love, but by supporting others in need. Our hope is that we can help change the perception and destigmatize the view on men’s mental health one candle at a time.

We are on a mission to help men live happier, healthier lives. We want to create candles that make men feel powerful, calm and confident.
