Candles With A Purpose

With every candle purchased we will donate a portion of sales to help support men’s mental health initiatives which include Heads Up Guys, and Movember. Donating to these organizations to us is a great way to do a lot of good for a lot of men.

Based on information from the Federal Canadian Government in 2020 the rate of male suicide is alarmingly high: in Canada, 3 out of 4 suicides are by men.

Bro Sense Candles wants to be a part of the solution. By promoting self care and destigmatizing mental health, we can establish better social connections that can improve overall mental health and help reduce the risk of suicide.

Why is it important to support men’s mental health?

Men’s mental health struggles often go unrecognized or undiagnosed, due to the stigma and misunderstanding that it makes them weak. Which is why men are less likely to discuss or seek help for their mental health problems. Men are dying by suicide in enormous numbers, but the general public are unaware of this disturbing statistic. This is why Bro Sense Candles wants to be a part of the solution and bring awareness to this serious problem.
